SPOTLIGHT

A streaming site' user-base has made an appearance on the dark web. The file, which is over 7GB, contains a huge amount of user data and millions of unique email addresses. Usernames and device information are just a couple of data types in the breach. The site has been running for 10 years and is available throughout Europe and Russia. The data was for sale only two months ago but is now in circulation for publicly.

A huge South Asian shopping site that suffered a data breach back in September has been dumped online. We're surprised to see the data available publicly so soon after the data breach. The company was launched back in 2007 to sell books and now is a leading e-commerce site with over 80 million different products for sale. Over 500K email addresses, geo-locations and mobile numbers were compromised.

A quick update on Medibank after their huge data breach, let's say it definitely hasn’t been a good year for Australian security techies. Up till now only a sample of the data was released, however, now the full dump has seen the light of day. They didn’t pay the ransom and the group kept to their word.
