SPOTLIGHT

When surfing around the internet, one of our researchers found breached data from a popular aqua sports company. It's from a well established company that has been running since 1969. We can’t ascertain if the company did tell the public about the data breach in question however we haven’t seen any evidence to suggest otherwise.

Whilst compromised earlier in the year, a Portuguese Airline which naturally has a large user-base, is now in circulation publicly. The breach contained millions of unique email addresses and the kind of datasets that an Airline would usually ask for.

An all in one domain and hosting platform has had there user-base dumped online, for the company and the customers involved its a kick in the teeth. Various datasets were included in the breach, the more pressing issue is that the hosted servers could be compromised by threat actors to use for nefarious means, such as a bot network or defacing websites hosted on the platform.
